The Mariners thought they`d have a 2-1 win after Mike Cameron`s 2 run HR in the 8th. But Kazuhiro Sasaki blew the save, and the M`s bullpen allowed 6 runs in the 10th inning. The Rays won 8-3.
This copy is unique, in that it is the Japanese broadcast. All Mariners games in 2001 were shown in Japan due to Ichiro coming over from Japan. The main FSNW feed is usually used with Japanese announcer audio, but sometimes replays and alternate angles are shown.
Unfortunately, NHK saw fit to interrupt the broadcast twice to do a newscast. As such, 1 1/2 or 2 innings were not shown. So this is for diehards or people curious to see how the Mariners games were shown in Japan only. |
