Atlanta squeaks by the Giants in the season opener for both teams. After New York took a 14-7 lead on a touchdown pass from Scott Brunner to Earnest Gray the Giants looked to be in control. They were driving for the score that would have put the game away but fumbled on the 9 and Bob Glazebrook returned it for a touchdown. It still took a field goal to win it though because Mick Luckhurst`s extra point was blocked. Frank Glieber and John Madden have the call. |
