"THE MUSIC CITY MIRACLE"
A 12-0 Tennessee halftime lead disappeared as Buffalo`s Antowain Smith had 2 touchdown runs. Bills kicker Steve Christie`s field goal put Tennessee in a corner with 16 seconds left. Lorenzo Neal fielded the kickoff, handed off to H-back Frank Wycheck, who then made a cross-field lateral to a streaking Kevin Dyson to produce the Music City Miracle. Skeptics shook their heads over whether Wycheck made an illegal forward pass, but subsequent instant replay upheld the ruling and the miracle was complete. I was listening to the game in my car and heard the exciting finish on the radio! Mike Patrick, Joe Theismann and Paul Maguire have the call.
