Silent, color footage of #14 Appalachian State visiting #6 WKU for the 1-AA playoff quarterfinals. I was at this game which occurred in blizzard conditions although it doesn`t appear that bad from the footage. This game had a very controversial call that Hilltopper fans still question to this day. Late in the game, WKU`s Joe Jefferson appeared to have run a kickoff back 97 yards for a touchdown but the referee had called that he had stepped out of bounds on their own 40 yard line. This is not shown on the film as it only reflects WKU offensive plays. |
