Bob Gibson matched Mickey Lolich for much of the game, but the Tigers pulled ahead with a 3 run 7th inning, which led to a 4-1 Tigers victory.
The quality is nice, especially for the time period. This is taken from Canadian tape or kinescope, so a number of commercials have a Canadian slant. It`s a Black and White copy, and the method used to record the game was likely a skip field format, so the motion can look blurred. Still a very enjoyable watch. |
