This was one wild game with plenty of offense! Dan Fouts fought through injuries as long as he could eventually giving way to Ed Luther who kept the Chargers in front. The Giants were on the doorstep to tie it late, but Scott Brunner had the ball slip out of his hand on a pass and San Diego fell on it. Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen have the call. |
