Here`s rare game footage of the Portsmouth Spartans, the team that would be known as the Detroit Lions a season later. The game features old stars for the Giants such as Mel Hein, Hap Moran and also Dutch Clark, Father Lumpkin and Glenn Presnell for Portsmouth. It`s just 3 quarters of footage (25:48), but each play is documented and the one score of the day is shown. The disc also includes an interview with Hap Moran from 1992, pieces on Al Blozis, Benny Friedman and footage of Tiki Barber breaking Hap Moran`s longest run record in 2005. |
