Game #4: NY Nets 103 @ Kentucky 90 – The earliest known Julius Erving game to exist! The Nets sweep the Colonels in a game played at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, KY (former home of the Kentucky Wildcats). This is also the only known original broadcast (B&W) from that famed arena! It has been edited to 44 minutes and 41 seconds. Most game action is there. This disk also includes the only broadcast footage of the Carolina Cougars!! It is the last 5 full broadcast minutes of 4-24-73 ABA Semi-Finals: Kentucky 107 @ Carolina 96 from WLKY-TV in Lexington, KY. Picture quality is a strong VG on both games |
