Eagles QB Adrian Burk ties the NFL record for touchdown passes in a game (7) that was originally set by Sid Luckman of the Chicago Bears on November 14, 1943 against the New York Giants. One other thing to note...Washington`s Dale Atkeson returns a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. He was knocked to the ground not too long after he got going but got up and finished the run. That would be a major rule that would change in 1955. Once you hit the ground and were touched by the other team you are considered down. |
