Iowa got out to a 12-0 lead, which it kept at halftime, 30-18. Michigan came back to force overtime. In the third overtime period, Roy Tarpley rebounded an Antoine Joubert miss, and banked home a buzzer beater to finally give Michigan a 69-67 victory.

Metrosports initially had audio problems that lasted through most of the pregame. All copies will likely be this way. The Beta tape had degraded slightly, so there are occasional dropouts, and a slight loss of focus. Still an enjoyable copy.
