UNC-Charlotte almost pulled off the miracle of winning the NIT tournament, leading prestigious Kentucky by 3 points at half. The Wildcats salvaged their season by making a late run to beat UNCC in the NIT championship game, 71-67.

For a pre-home VCR era game, this is very nice quality. WBTV dealt with the lighting better than in the semifinal against NC State, so the picture isn`t as bright. There`s a couple of light bumps very early on in disc 2. Can`t ask for much better quality for a game of this vintage, especially from a local broadcast.
