Comments: THIS GAME IS NOT FOR COMMON TRADE. This is the only existing video of this game. Joe Namath of the Jets at the end of his Jets career vs O.J. Simpson of the Bills in his prime. 57 minute long partial, covering most of the 3rd and 4th quarters. The first 12 minutes or so of video is very rough (but watchable), after that it settles in at a quality of 7.5. NBC’s play-by-play announcer for the game was Jim Simpson with John Brodie as the analyst.
Format: DVD-R
# of discs/tapes: 1
Format Comments: What survives of this game is virtually the entire second half, with total viewing of 30:40 in the 3rd quarter and 26:52 in the 4th. Scoring has concluded when the game cuts out with a few seconds remaining. The game is evidently recorded off-air and looks like a Cartrivision recording. There is a line in the screen for the first 12 minutes or so, but you can see all the action. After that, the remaining 85% of the broadcast is line-free – fuzzy, but fine for viewing. The whole item, including the interference portion, is quite watchable.
