Comments:	#2 Minnesoya edges #3 Michigan behind Bruce Smith`s 80 Yard TD run and the following extra point kick by Joe Mernik. This was the top game from the 1940 season and denied Michigan Legend Tom Harmon his best shot at a National Championship. Forrest Evachevski tallied Michigan`s only score. Minnesota went on the win The national Title while Michigan finished third brhind The Gophers and Stanford. This was converted from 16 MM to VHS for a football memorabila museum and has since been converted to DVD.
