The famous Habs` comeback! The Canadiens came back from a 5-1 deficit to win 7-5 !!! Yvan Cournoyer opened the scored, but Boston scored 5 straight goals( Orr, Green, McKenzie, Cashman, Sanderson). But the canadiens stormed back with 6 unanswered goals (Richard, Beliveau twice, Lemaire, Ferguson, Frank Mahovlich). Great game for Jean Beliveau who rallied Montreal (2g, 2s). Yvan Cournoyer 1b, 2a. John Ferguson had 1g, 2a. For Boston, Bobby Orr finished the game with 1g, 3a. Phil Esposito 2 assists. Montreal will eventualy wins the series. Nobody gave them a chance. Nobody! |
