This game was played with a bit of an edge by both squads. Joe Ferguson was knocked with a concusion by a fierce Raiders pass rush and Eugene Marve jumped early and decked Jim Plunkett prompting a personal foul and an ejection. The Raiders opened up a 24-3 lead in the 4th quarter, but backup Matt Kofler led Buffalo back with 21 points to tie the game. Just as they had done the previous week against Denver though, the Raiders were able to drive and set up a Chris Bahr field goal to win it. Don Criqui and Gene Washington have the call. |
