Falcons beat the Steelers 41-38 in OT; crazy finish in regulation with the Falcons making an apparent GW 56 yard FG only to have the refs rule that the Steelers had called timeout first, then the Falcons miss the ensuing FG only to have the Steelers penalized for running into the kicker. But it didn`t matter as the Falcons still missed the FG. The Steelers then drove into FG range but got called for a false start penalty causing the remaining time on the clock to be runoff. Ben Roethlisberger and Charlie Batch combine for 24-35 433 yards and 5 TD; Hines Ward 7-181 3 TD. |
