Comments:	Michigan State 84 Ohio State 79 OT. The Spartans pick up a critical win on their ultimate quest for The National Championship. The Buckeyes came in at 8-0 while MSU was reeling at 4-4 in Big Ten play. A win by The Bucks might have rewritten college basketball history because they would have been the odds on favorite in the Big Ten but the loss hurt their confidence and gave the Spartans new life.
