In one of the most bizarre games in recent history, wind gusts of up to 40 mph were swirling in Soldier Field wreaking havoc on passing but especially kicking. Robbie Gould`s first field goal attempt was literally blown 10 yards right of the goal post. Joe Nedney got smart after this and played the wind much like an amateur golfer counters a wicked slice. The highlight of the game though was a field goal attempt on the final play of the first half that Nathan Vasher caught in the back of the end zone and ran it back 108 yards for a touchdown! Sam Rosen and Bill Maas have the call. |
