This was the first time these two Kentucky schools ever played each other on the gridiron despite the close proximity to each other. Western Kentucky was in it`s final transition season before starting Sun Belt play officially and they were not on the level to compete with the Wildcats. However, freshman Bobby Rainey (wearing #17) had a big day for the Toppers. Rob Bromley, Tim Couch and Drew Deener have the call. |
