The Sonics played a great game on the road, giving the Celtics a rare home loss. Seattle won, 118-106. Larry Bird`s 25 points weren`t enough to compete with Lonnie Shelton`s 37 points, and Gus Williams` 36 points.
This local Seattle broadcast didn`t quite have the camera/broadcasting quality of CBS, and the master had lost just a little bit of sherpness. Still a pretty nice copy. Haltime was paused out by the taper and they came back late, so the Celtics had already put the ball in play for the 3rd quarter. |
