The New England Patriots squandered a 25 point halftime lead and then came back with a late touchdown to win in the final minute. They had been in full control until the 4th quarter where the Saints scored 28 points to take the lead. Two notable played their final NFL games in this one - Richard Todd and Earl Campbell. Todd was waived the following week and Campbell retired 2 days after this game. Bob Lobel and Dave Rowe have the call. |
