As if the Giants and Cardinals didn`t play a bad enough game earlier in the year which ended in a tie, this one featured horrible weather and driving rain that limited both teams severely. The Giants managed to get ahead early behind a pair of Ali Haji-Sheikh field goals, but a touchdown pass to Roy Green and a Cardinals field goal were enough to win. The game was sparcely attended and they would see the last game that Scott Brunner would ever start at quarterback for the Giants. Pat Summerall and John Madden have the call. |
