Absolute crazy preseason game with tons of scoring! In a little twist of irony, the Steelers bombed Washington in the second quarter just as they had done to Denver in their last game (the Super Bowl). Down 31-6, Washington came back to within 3 points before Pittsburgh tacked on more to finish them off. There`s a great halftime piece that shows a game at Three Rivers between past players of Steelers and Cowboys. That game went bad for the Steelers as Fuqua broke his ankle, Franco broke his nose and Andy Russell tore a tendon in his knee in what was supposed to be a flag football game! Stan Savran and Jack Ham have the call. |
