Comments: |
In the most lopsided game in NFL history, the Bears lay a severe whipping on the Redskins 73-0 to win the league championship in the first national radio broadcast of a championship game; 10 different Bears scored in the game and the Bears intercepted 8 Redskin passes, 3 of which were returned for TDs in the 3rd quarter alone; the win was sweet revenge for George Halas` team for a bitter 7-3 loss suffered just 3 weeks earlier at the same location after which the Redskins had called the Bears "crybabies"; Bill Osmanski 10-107 1 TD. |
