Seattle wins in New York by a touchdown but the fans were rightfully angry about a blown call early in the game. A punt was fumbled and recovered for a score by the Jets, but the officials ruled the Seattle player down when replay clearly showed that was not the case. However this was still before replay was used, so the call stood. Freeman McNeil and rookie Curt Warner had big rushing days, both going over 100 yards. Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen have the call. |
