BRONCOS 31 BEARS 29
This is a 1987 week 10 Monday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium. The Bears jumped off to a 14-0 lead but John Elway and the Broncos would make a game of it and what a game, winning 31-29. Two Kevin Butler missed extra points turned out to be the difference. John Elway threw for 341 yards while Jim McMahon threw for over 300 yards for the first time in his career with 311 yards. |
