COWBOYS 23 VIKINGS 17 (OT)
Emmitt Smith capped a 20 carry, 150 yard with a 31 yard touchdown run in overtime to give the Dallas Cowboys a 23-17 win over the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome. It was Emmitt`s second touchdown of the game as he scored on a two yard run earlier. The win improved the Cowboys to 3-0. Troy Aikman completed 24 of 38 passes for 246 yards including a 19 yard touchdown pass to Michael Irvin in the first quarter. Warren Moon threw for two touchdowns for the Vikings, who dropped to 1-2 with the loss.
Emmitt Smith scored the winning TD in overtime and 150+ rushing yards. |
