Georgetown goes on a 12-0 run in the last 5 minutes of the 1st Half to take a 42-28 lead going into the break. The Wolfpack doesn’t quit. Led By Rodney Monroe who scored 20 of his 26 points in the 2nd half they cut the Hoyas lead to 59-56 with 1:30 left. Then came a traveling call against Chris Corchani instead of a 3 point play that would’ve tied the game Georgetown gets the ball instead. All of these Years later it’s still a bad call. The Hoyas clinch the game with free throws the rest of the way. Georgetown is led by Dwayne Bryant with 21 points. Jaren Jackson adds 17. Alonzo Mourning has 12 points 12 rebounds and 5 Blocks. In addition to Monroe’s 26 Bryan Howard adds 13 points. They are the only Wolfpack players in double figures. |
