Washington 20-19. Chip Lohmiller kicked a 44-yard field goal into a strong breeze with one-second left to cap a late rally and give the Redskins the win. Doug Williams tossed a two-yard touchdown to tight end Terry Orr to make it 19-17 with 8:43 left. Washington got the ball back at its own 10 with 3:57 to play and Williams was eight of ten passing, converting two third downs and a fourth down on the way to Lohmiller’s game winner. |
