Comments: |
This is a regular season game between San Francisco and Washington. O.J. Simpson starts at running back for San Francisco but is basically ineffective. This would also be the last game Pete McCulley would coach for SF as he was fired after this game after a 1-8 start. The interim coach finished the rest of the season 1-6 leaving SF 2-14 in 1978 which lead to the hiring of Bill Walsh and the drafting of Joe Montana in 1979. Vin Scully, George Allen and Jim Brown have the call. |
