Green Bay Packers defeated New England 35–21. Kick Returner/Punt Returner Desmond Howard was named Super Bowl MVP and scored the game-clinching touchdown on a Super Bowl record 99-yard kickoff return. Howard also recorded a Super Bowl record 90 punt return yards. Drew Bledsoe 4 int`s and the Packers get a receiving TD from 54 yards out, 81 yards out and then the 99 yarder of a dagger after NE got the score to 21-27. Cheeseheads celebrate and Favre gets his one and only Superbowl win, losing the next year to Denver. |
