The Bills ran up over 33 minutes in time of possession in a game loaded with penalties (something that was commonplace for them in 1983). Joe Ferguson did manage to connect with Jerry Butler in the 3rd quarter for the game`s only touchdown which proved to be enough. Ken Anderson suffered the first of several injuries he would be dealt during this frustrating season. Phil Stone and Mike Adamle have the call. This would be Adamle`s last game with NBC. |
