This matchup to start the 1984 preseason was nearly the Super Bowl from the previous year, but this was not an exciting game. Joe Montana led his team to it`s only touchdown early and he scored it himself on a 2 yard run. Jim Plunkett was mostly ineffective and the Raiders only touchdown came off a muffed punt by Carl Monroe. Ron Waller and Wayne Walker have the call. |
