Of note in this preseason game, this is the last NFL game of Jim Plunkett. He hadn`t played since 1986 and was 40 years old. He was cut on the Monday following this game and never played again. Paul McDonald was also trying to make the Cowboys roster but he would be cut a week later and would also not play again. Charlie Jones, George Allen and Scott Murray have the call.
Audio problems leave the game silent for about 30 minutes. Shaky picture as well. |
