This game is a 1994 Week 11 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick. For the past two seasons the 49ers season has ended in the NFC Title game at the expense of the Dallas Cowboys. Both years the Cowboys have gone on to win the Super Bowl. The 49ers finally got over the hurdle as they beat the Dallas Cowboys 21-14. No it wasn`t the playoffs but the emotion shown by Steve Young you would have thought it was the NFC Championship. What the 49ers did gain was confidence as they now know they can beat the Cowboys. Dallas` Troy Aikman passed for 339 yards in the loss. |
