The Pistons season long problem with big runs against them strikes again in this game. Over the Last 8:30 of the 3rd quarter the Lakers go on a 20-6 run to take a 66-58 lead going into the 4th quarter. That propels the Lakers to a 96-89 win. There are all sorts of rumors about Coach Del Harris being fired. However Jerry West and Magic Johnson who are interviewed during the game say it’s not true and that it was all made up on the internet. So it begins. lol. Shaquille O’Neal has a dominant 2nd Half and leads the Lakers with 32 points and 13 rebounds.Rick Fox has 22 points and 6 assists.Derek Fisher has his First career double double with 13 points and 11 assists.Elden Campbell plays well off of the bench with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Jerry Stackhouse leads the Pistons with 23 points. Grant Hill has 19 points 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The last holdover from the Pistons championship teams ( 89-90 ) Joe Dumars has 13 points and 5 assists.
