Late in the 3rd quarter the Trailblazers have a 16 point lead. At the end of the quarter Brian Shaw banks in a 3 pointer to cut the lead to 13 at the Quarter break. In the 4th quarter Portland leads 75-60. The Lakers go on a 15-0 run to tie the game at 75-75. Overall they outscored Portland in this run 25-4 covering 9:50. In his First Game 7 of his career Kobe Bryant has 25 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists plus 4 blocks. He has a poor game at the Charity Stripe only going 6-12 from there. Shaquille O’Neal has 18 points and 9 rebounds. Glen Rice has 11 points and 6 rebounds. Off of the Bench Robert Horry has 12 points and 7 rebounds. Brian Shaw helps bring the Lakers back going 3-4 from 3 point range and scoring 11 points. For Portland Rasheed Wallace has a huge game with 30 points and 4 rebounds. Steve Smith helps get the Trailblazers A large lead with hot shooting scoring 18 points. The only other Trailblazer in double figures is Scottie Pippin with 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers advance to their first finals since 1991 (Chicago).
