Huskies got out to a big lead, but Iowa stormed back with multiple successful onside kick recoveries. UW won 46-34.
This game has been tough to find in nice shape, but this copy is pretty nice. Maybe the picture is very slightly dim, but is otherwise very nice, and the audio quality is as close to perfect as you can get for a home taped game. I also have a fifth disc, converted from a Beta master for those interested, which was a Washington post game show on KOMO-4 in Seattle. The rest of the country, except for Iowa perhaps, got the Sugar Bowl immediately following the Rose Bowl. Because of the post game show, Seattle joined the Sugar Bowl broadcast well in progress. |
