NHL Network rebroadcast. Wayne Gretzky`s final NHL game. Even though it is a rebroadcast it does have some pre-game ceremonies, including both "Gretzky-altered" anthems, plus some intermission and post-game stuff. I would say about 20 minutes of pre-game and 17 minutes of post-game.
Not entirely sure exactly what network this qualifies as being on. From what I can tell this game is a recording off of MSG Network (a few graphics confirm that this was what was being broadcast on MSG), but it is the same feed that was broadcast nationally on Fox. My best guess is that since it was such a historic game, they mixed the Fox and MSG crews together hence why Doc Emerick is doing the play-by-play, but John Davidson is doing color commentary and Sam Rosen is a rinkside reporter. |
